The Vane collection evolved from the principles behind Elytra — building on repetition, but shifting the focus toward fluidity and serpentine movement. While Elytra explored clustered, layered forms, Vane introduced a continuous rhythm, allowing the pieces to flow across the body with a more sinuous, organic energy.

The name Vane comes from the soft part of a blue and yellow parrot feather I had in my studio. As I slowly turned it in my fingers, I noticed how the colours seemed to shift and shimmer. I was mesmerised. It was a simple optical effect — caused by the microstructure and colouration of the fibres — and that moment became the seed for this collection.

Vane celebrates that interplay of structure and illusion. As with feathers, scales, or leaves, the repeating forms catch the light differently depending on angle and motion. The result is jewellery that feels alive — twisting, gliding, and subtly changing as it moves with the wearer.
