Useful Info & Frequently Asked Questions:

Terms & Conditions

By placing an order through this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a fair, transparent, and professional experience for both you as the customer and me as the maker.

1. Handmade Nature of the Work

Each piece is handmade with care and attention to detail. Slight variations in colour, finish, or form are part of the making process and add to the individuality of the jewellery. These are not considered faults.

2. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and may change without notice. Payment must be received in full before your order is dispatched.
For international customers, your bank or credit-card provider may charge currency-conversion or transaction fees — these are outside my control.

3. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on destination, customs processing, or postal service delays.
Any extended delivery times that I am aware of will be displayed on the main shop page.

Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details so you can follow its progress.
All orders are carefully packaged and fully insured while in transit, giving you peace of mind until your jewellery arrives safely.

International Orders:

  • Customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees may be charged by your local customs office upon arrival. These are the buyer’s responsibility.

  • I am legally required to declare the full value of the item on customs forms and cannot mark parcels as gifts or undervalue them.

4. Returns and Refunds

If you wish to return your jewellery, please contact me within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned unworn, in perfect condition, and in their original packaging to qualify for a refund. Sadly, I’m unable to offer a refund for pieces that show signs of wear or damage, or that aren’t returned with their original packaging intact.

You are responsible for return postage costs, and I recommend using a tracked and insured service. Refunds will be issued once the item has been safely received and inspected.

International returns:
Please clearly mark your parcel as Returned Goods to avoid import duties being charged again on arrival in the UK. If such charges occur, they may be deducted from your refund.

5. Faulty or Damaged Items

In the rare event that your jewellery arrives damaged or faulty, please contact me within 7 days of delivery, including photographs of the issue. I’ll do my best to repair, replace, or refund the item promptly.

6. Liability

I cannot accept responsibility for damage resulting from mishandling once the piece is in your possession. Any necessary repairs will be charged accordingly including shipping costs.

Material details are listed for each piece; however, I am not liable for any allergic reactions or sensitivities that may occur.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs, images, and written content on this website are the intellectual property of John Moore Studio and may not be reproduced, copied, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By choosing to make a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions, including all policies regarding payment, delivery, returns, and international orders.
